LESSON OUTLINE

Thessalonians 2:10-16)
II. THE REWARDS OF A GOOD WITNESS (1
Corinthians 9:16-17; 1 Thessalonians 2:17-10)
“So if I, your Lord and Teacher have washed your
feet, you also ought to wash one another’s feet.”
John 13:14 RSV
“The ultimate measure of a man [or
woman] is not where he [or she] stands in moments of comfort and convenience,
but where he [or she] stands at times of challenge and controversy.” Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
BIBLICAL POINTS ON WITNESSING
1. Witnessing is the
responsibility of every believer to communicate God's plan
of salvation to unbelievers on a personal basis (Matt.
28:18-20; Acts 16:31).
2. Witnessing or Ambassadorship requires proper
motivation, preparation and knowledge (1 Thess. 2:10-12).
3. The agents of witnessing are the following:
a. The Family Plan--Adam and Eve as the
first parents set the precedent for all future parents by
witnessing to their children.
b. The National Entity--The client or priest nation Israel
was responsible for Evangelizing the world (Rom. 3:1-2), and will be again
during the Tribulation.
c. Today every Church age believer throughout the world is
responsible for spreading the Gospel by his life and his lips (2 Cor. 3:3; 6:3;
5:14-21; 6:2).
